This law firm began in 1949 as Cunningham, Thomson and Thomson, and has continued to represent clients in Lindsay and the surrounding area to this date.  The firm Evolved to Thomson, Scott and Logan in 1974, following the appointment of the Honourable David M. Thomson to the Ontario Superior Court.  Justice Thomson was joined by the Honourable David H. Logan in 1981, who was also appointed to the Ontario Superior Court.

Subsequent to the appointment of Justice Logan, the firm moved forward as Glass, Farn, and Reynolds.  The firm proceeded under this name until 1997, when the Honourable Bruce A. Glass was appointed to the Ontario Superior Court. With its offices at its present location since 1960, this firm carries on today as Gemmill, Farn and Reynolds.
